Not Much Sleep

Goldie had a white doeling at 5:00 this morning.  Had to assist just a little, she is a big girl.

Ebony had twins, one was large enough, the other quite small.  She was in panic when I got out there, so she must have had them earlier.  Lost both of them.  1st time Momma.  She's very depressed and still calling for them.

Two, maybe three more to go.  Nanny, Miracle, and Ivory.

Silver has a white doeling

Silver had her baby about 12:30 AM.  I'm tired and going to do one last check and go to sleep.

Grace had twins, but lost one for some reason.  I went out to check and she had them both already.  But the little dark one was already dead.  She was taking care of a pretty white buckling.  My first white buck.

Where is my Camera

Lot's has been happening.  I can't find my camera, when I need it. GRRRRR!

Sheared Goldie, Silver, and Ebony this last weekend.  I did get a picture of Ebony, but missed Goldie and Silver.  I will post pictures of the saddle portion of their fleeces. It's ALL FOR SALE!  Goldie and Silver are pure Angora Goats, so this is Adult Mohair.  Ebony is Pygora, but also an adult.

Poor Little Rose.  Rose was the first to show signs of birth.  I watched her Sunday, April 28th, and thought she was in labor.  Monday, I know she was in labor, but still no babies.  I let her go until Tuesday morning and then had to call the Vet for an emergency C-section.  This was her first, and last pregnancy, she had twins, but both were dead.  She would not dilate all the way. The Vet said the twins were quite small for full term, but I saw them kicking on Monday. The others does don't show signs of having their babies yet, so now I wonder if something was wrong with Rose's babies. I guess time will tell.
