Will it work?

This is home spun yarn. It's a single ply that I want to felt down to fit a womans size large foot. What do you think. Will they felt down enough without getting too small? The wpi is 13 and I'm using size 10 1/2 needles.

UFO Completed! Hooray!!!!!

Last year I purchased some Knifty Knitters for myself and started playing with them. If you're not aware of what a Knifty Knitter is, it is a set of 4 round or circular looms. Do a search and you'll find a ton of stuff on the internet regarding them. They are kind of fun and a different way to knit. I finally finished the slippers that I started last year. They are not beautiful slippers, but functional. The yarn I choose was just left over stuff from who knows what. I wear them and they keep my feet warm. Can you ask more out of a practice pair.
Maybe a better picture....but that requires a better camera.
