Fiber Stuff - Spinning

Here is the fiber I have been spinning. It's really nice finished. I don't even know what it is. Black Wool. That's about all I can tell you. My lovely neighbor gave me this black wool. He wants a pair of socks. Gosh how can I refuse. The fiber on the left is finished, the one on the right needs the twist set and you can see I have about another 4 oz on the bobbin. Then I have 3 4oz rovings to spin. There is some vegetable matter in this roving and it's kind of slow going at times, but I could not refuse a natural black.

A nice 2 ply
